The Seven Houses

Every game teaches you
to see baseball differently.

Collect the Houses. Master the diamond.

Zeus Challenge turns real, historical MLB games into a prediction game. After every pick, one of seven Houses reads the game back to you: a single way of noticing what stood out.

How Houses appear in the game

After each pick, the game is tagged with one House: a single thing worth noticing about how it played out. You'll see that House on the result screen, and every new House you meet is added to your collection on the dashboard. A House describes what stood out. It never claims to explain the result.

Zeus, the House of Leadership & Power

Zeus

Leadership & Power

Activates when a starter commands the game from the first pitch and never hands out a walk.

“Control like this doesn't ask for attention. It earns it.”
Athena, the House of Strategy & Wisdom

Athena

Strategy & Wisdom

Activates when one lineup holds a clear edge on paper before the game even begins.

“On paper, one side held the sharper plan. Now you've seen how it played out.”
Ares, the House of Momentum & Pressure

Ares

Momentum & Pressure

Activates when the game comes down to a single run.

“One run. Every pitch carried weight.”
Apollo, the House of Precision & Execution

Apollo

Precision & Execution

Activates when a starter strikes out a crowd and allows almost nothing.

“Clean, exact, almost quiet. Execution at its finest.”
Poseidon, the House of Adaptation & Recovery

Poseidon

Adaptation & Recovery

Activates when a struggling starter turns in a surprisingly clean outing.

“The tide turned. What looked shaky settled into something steady.”
Hermes, the House of Pattern & Speed

Hermes

Pattern & Speed

Activates when the two bullpens show a clear gap in depth.

“Look past the starters. The pattern was hiding in the bullpens.”
Hades, the House of Hidden Context

Hades

Hidden Context

Activates when the story sits outside the numbers, or the favorite falls.

“Some stories aren't in the numbers. Look beneath them.”

How the Houses respond

A correct result may receive a House insight. An unexpected result receives a House lesson plus the probability explanation.

Prediction ≠ certainty

A statistical edge increases probability. It never guarantees the outcome.
